Review, Wet N Wild Megalast Iridescent Lip Color

*Photos will be added soon*

For the Halloween season of 2018, Wet N Wild released two iridescent lipsticks under the Fantasy Makers line: Unicorn Soul and Immortal Tears. Each tube was originally priced at $1.99, but I found mine on sale at Target for 98 cents a piece.

Packaging is nearly the same for both tubes, being black cheap feeling package in a normal bullet lipstick shape. Both feature unicorn artwork, and a holographic stripe similar to the color in the tube. Unicorn Soul's is blue, while Immortal Tear's is silver. Each lipstick holds 0.11 Oz/3.3 grams of product, and the lipstick itself is in the standard circular tube shape that the Megalast line of lipsticks is known for, but with the addition of a unicorn head stamped into the product. Neither lipstick has a scent. Both products are touted as being cruelty free.

Immortal Tears is a very sheer silver shade, with white and silver microfine shimmer. On the lips only the shimmer is visible, and can be worn lightly for only a hint of sparkle, or layered and built up for a very blinding look. Wear time for this shade was about 5 hours before it was mostly gone, but small patches of shimmer were still noticeable after 8 hours. This is smooth, and didn't dry out my lips. Shimmer particles do settle into any cracks or dry patches in the lips, though.

Unicorn Soul is a pale blue in the package, with blue, lavender, and silver microfine shimmer, but when applied to the lips, it changes into a unique pink shade with a blue to silver reflective finish. It doesn't list if it is ph reactive on the website, but it seems like it because of the color change. On me, it went bright pink, but it was a more subtle rosy pink on a friend. The reflective finish stayed the same between us, however. Wear time on this was mostly the same, with the pink gradually becoming more and more noticeable as time went on. The reflective quality of this lasted a good 4 hours before it was mostly gone. I can't really say much about how long the pink lasted, as it actually stained my lips pink for about two days after my initial wear test. This applies very easily and smooth, and didnt dry out my lips.

I cannot confirm, but Immortal Tears seems to be very similar to Too Faced Mystical Lipstick in Angel Tears, while Unicorn Soul is very similar to Too Faced Mystical Lipstick in Unicorn Tears. These might be possible dupes, but I don't currently have the Too Faced lippies to compare them to in person.
